AEC Pop & Jazz Platform Meeting 2011

The last AEC Pop & Jazz Platform Meeting took place in Graz, 18-19 February 2011 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG).

The aim of the AEC Pop & Jazz Platform (PJP) is to bring together heads of departments and teachers in the field of pop and jazz to discuss relevant issues and to promote European cooperation in this field.

 

The 2011 edition has mainly addressed topics related to teaching methods, learning outcomes, curricula and programmes in pop and jazz education. These themes were addressed by the key-note speaker Dave Douglas from the US, and by 3 other invited speakers from different European institutions. The presentations were followed by breakout group discussions with the speakers.
