Dean of Studies

The Dean of Studies is a monocratic organ. At first instance, he/she is responsible to ensure compliance with regulations in connection with study matters at KUG. The Dean of Studies is elected by the Senate for a term of three years.

Among others, the tasks of the Dean of Studies include the appointment of examination senates for the admission of students, for the issuing of preliminary notices and of declarations of acknowledgment in case of terms abroad in the framework of mobility programs, the validation of exams and the issuing of diplomas and the conferment of degrees. In compliance with the statutes, the Dean of Studies is also in charge of monitoring of the Bologna Process at KUG.
