Society of Friends of KUG

The Society of the Friends of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz is an independent, non-political association whose principal tasks include the following:

1. Support of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz
2. Support both of musical and artistic creations and of the understanding of music and performing arts in close cooperation with this university
3. Support of students at this university unless they are not supported through public funds, or if the latter is not sufficient.

In order to fulfill these tasks, this association organizes every year a subscription cycle (KUG subscription) in cooperation with the university allowing students of the university to benefit from the best concert hall conditions in Graz for their appearances in public. In addition, the Society provides regular support in the form of grants funded by their own financial resources for students of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz who are in need and who deserve particular support on account of their work.
Every person or institution demonstrating lively interest in the activities of the university by submitting a declaration of accession can become a member of this society.

• Institutional patrons € 200.-
