Rules and Service – they don´t have to contradict each other!

The intention and goal of our department is to offer the best possible service for prospective and incoming students, as well as for teachers and members of the administration of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. This service is guaranteed through the fulfillment of our core tasks, such as providing students with information, as well as administrating entrance examinations and admissions, study extensions, study plans and lecture programmes, managing examinations, organizing academic celebrations, and updating existing software programmes such as KUGonline, done in cooperation with other universities. Due to the extensive range of study plans and the various legal frameworks which exist, we feel obliged to act as an "intermediary" for our university members in order to counter misunderstandings when interpreting legal texts, and on the other hand to maintain these interfaces so that we may optimize processes.
